Accessibility

PSP Comics wants every reader to be able to find the comic, understand what it is, and buy it. This site is built to work without a mouse, without animation, and without seeing the artwork.

What is in place

• Semantic HTML with landmarks, one heading hierarchy per page, and a skip link to the main content.
• Every control works from the keyboard and shows a visible focus state. The mobile menu traps focus while open and closes with Escape.
• Meaningful comic art carries descriptive alternative text. Decorative texture, registration marks, and signal effects are hidden from assistive technology. Captions and dialogue shown from the comic are also present as real text.
• Motion respects the operating system’s reduced-motion setting. With it on, the hero video does not play, the signal effects hold still, and nothing animates on scroll.
• Text sizes use relative units and the layout reflows down to narrow phones without horizontal scrolling.
• Purchase links say where they go and that they open Amazon in a new tab. Nothing flashes, nothing autoplays with sound, and there are no jump scares.

Known limits

The comic itself is sold and read through Amazon’s Kindle apps. Accessibility features inside those apps are Amazon’s.
